You're putting me to shame Mick. I've been doing this for almost a year now and you're going to have more of a stash than I do at this rate :D

It should be absolutely fine mick,
You added 500gm of LDME and 1kg of brewing sugar too wich is better than the kit requires.
It only really requires 1kg of fermentables and some people only use table sugar to get a fair pint, as you've used DME and brewing sugar im sure it'll be a fab pint.

I bet you won't do it again!

Depeds how fizzy you want it bud. I wouldn't think twice about 180g in a lager, but I like a really fizzy lager. The minimum I would go with is 150g for the whole batch :)

And that doesn't rip the sediment off of the bottom when you open a bottle, or you talking about kegging?

Bottling, and no.. none at all. I've never had this issue that everyone else speaks of. I often prime to the max as I like fizzy drinks.

Here is a REALLY over primed lager (200g for the batch, but it had loads of body).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tezS_g4EYtE

Notice how fizzy it is, yet how little action there is when the bottle is opened and inside the bottle itself. It's only once poured that it shows its true colours :)

Funny enough, I've just spent this evening bottling a Coopers Canadian Blonde.

I did toy with batch priming, but decided that I'd have a go at priming each bottle. I followed the instructions from here (I was actually looking for how to wash bottles, but that helped!)

Talking of which... if I needed to reopen some (I'm concerned that the seals aren't perfect), how many days would I have before I start causing problems?

ok so iv bottled my lager...
all sanitised and ready to go...

first i boild up 184g of white sugar in a half pint of water...
and added it to my fv ready for my lager to be syphoned on top...

so here we go ...
i syphoned it in to the sugar giving it a gentel stir at the same time ...
then after that i syphoned it in to several differant bottles ...
i like to do this so i can see any differance plus the pet bottles let you no if carbonation is going well or not ...

hres some pics ...
