On friday I started my Cooper's Australian Lager kit, instructions followed & everything went according to plan, however the initial fermentation has been very slow, a few tiny bubbles in the airlock but there doesn't appears to be a great deal of pressure building up in the FV. :hmm:
I have recently brewed two ale kits, Wherry & St.Peter's Golden Ale, the fermentation in both of these kits has started off quicker and more vigorously than the Cooper's Lager.
I've never tried a lager kit before and wondered if the fermentation process is slightly different to the ale kits. Am I just being impatient or perhaps I just need to increase the temperature a little to kick start/encourage the fermentation
Wait for a week and then give a little stir if still slow?
Any advice appreciated. :![Small Cheers cheers: cheers:](https://web.archive.org/web/20230418144719/https://www.world-of-smilies.com/wos_essen/nahrung002.gif)
