Just having a browse around and I came across the recipes on the coopers website which I would like you to but can't but they're easy enough to find.

The part that caught my attention is;
STEP 2: Ingredients
1.7kg Stout beer kit
1.7kg Dark Ale beer kit
1.7kg Lager beer kit
1kg Dextrose

It seems like a bit of a weird recipe to me I'd expect it to be 2 stout kits for a stronger imperial brew. Or is that just me? Has anyone tried the other coopers recipes?

Thats going to be an expensive brew! Im not a expert in stouts but an imperial stout is very differnt from an irish stout which is what the coopers kit is, so the other 2 kits must add some qualities that make it an imperial stout. I wouldnt be trying it for the cost of 3 kits though
