Just found a bottle of this I'd stashed away. Brewed 24 July 2012. Beautiful and clear pint good carbonation with just a small head. Clean tasting has a sweet initial taste followed by a little bitterness that's not over powering at all. For a kit beer its very good and shows what time in the bottle can do to it.
My records show that it was made as per kit instructions but with half kilo enhancer and half kilo of spray malt, and it ended fermentation at 4.2%
a couple of tasting notes in August show it was nice and clear under carbonated with little head and " Nice taste " and no sediment
Well theres a little bit of sediment in the bottle now after nearly 9 months in the bottle, but its a light hard covering on the base of the bottle that caused no problems in pouring.
A pint of beer I'd be more than happy to be served with in a pub, it would go down nice with a packet of crisps and a good hand of dominoes.
