Hey guys,

I'm planning to make the coopers ginger beer kit. just want to know whether you have to make it either alcholic or non alcoholic aws i would like to do half half in bottles, would that be possible???

If you have 2 smaller fermentation vessels you could split the concentrate and do as you are proposing :thumb:
Just remember to halve the required sugar content for each reduced batch :)

I only have i fermentation bucket so thats shame. Do you get the yeast with the ginger beer kit ???

Get a 5ltr bottle of water from Tesco and ferment some of it in there. Upsides of this are

a. You get to try your experiment at least on a smaller scale
b. You can use the Still water within for the brew itself so nothing wasted.
c. Extra Fermentor for small batches like....TURBO CIDER...(you know you want to)
d. Did I mention using the 5l fermentor for Turbo Cider afterwards.

Good point arturobandini :thumb:
Means that'd be 1/4 non alcoholic and 3/4 alcoholic
Shame to waste that potential alcohol

Read his post again, you want to ferment them side by side and mix the two at the bottling stage? Ok, then perhaps buy a few 5 litre bottles! Or better yet another fermenting bucket and make up 23 litre batches of Turbo Cider!

...okay i'll shut up about Turbo Cider...for now!
