Is it possible i could brew half the kit and keep the other half of the tin in a sealed container to brew at a later date? I know im going to get bombarded with why would i want to do that and the simple answer is i have a machine i want to try and use and it wont hold 23 litres.

Would anyone know if freezing half of the tin a option as well?

Why not brew the entire can as intended and put half in the machine and the rest in bottles?
But If you want to only brew half the can I suggest you keep it in the fridge and use it up as soon as possible.
Or, as another option which is just an idea and not tried, you could fully dissolve the remaining half can LME in slightly cooled boiled water to a volume of about 1.9 litres allow to cool and gently pour into a sanitised 2 litre PET bottle. Top up with cooled boiled water so the bottle is almost full, squeeze the air out of the bottle, then cap. And keep in the fridge until you need it, which hopefully would not be too far away
Not sure about freezing. Others maybe able to help there
