do you mean the carbonation drops? if so then i would recommend them, 1 drop per 500ml, saves batch priming and faffinf about trying not to spill sugar everywhere adding to each individual bottle. for me they give ideal carbonation.

I assume you mean carbonation drops?

If so they seem to make bottling beer off a little simpler, just check one drop into each bottle before adding beer :)

I've only used them once, and that quite recently, so dunno if they work that well, but have noticed a few positive comments on here about them :)

OK ta, I'll give them a go then. They sound like a potential solution to help curb CO2 emissions as well, if that's all we need to do to trap CO2, if you believe in all that malarky.

Might they come in useful say if you were to pour the last few pints in the bottom of the barrel into a vessel, pop a few pellets in and leave it to settle over night before pouring?

Better than throwing away good beer.

Hmm, OK.

All brewing gives off CO2, now don't get worried about global warming from CO2, go outside and plant a shrub, it'll filter out a whole load of CO2 over the next few years as it grows :)

Carbonation drops are simply sugar / fructose in an easy to handle pellet, the right amount for a bottle of beer in pellet format. If you read the pack it tells you what size is the perfect bottle for a single pellet.

The fizz in a bottle or keg is from the CO2 given off by the yeast during secondary fermentation, it will escape into the atmosphere one way or another when you open the bottle / keg and sup the stuff :)

Worry about the refridgerant gas in youu r fridge / freezer a lot more than the CO2 from your brewing as far as global warming is concerned :D

Oh I'm not worried about global warming and don't believe in all the hype about it, it's completely overstated. But yeah, didn't realise they were just sugar, how silly of me.

Work really well, they don't fizz up like a tea spoon of sugar. Always seem to give perfect carbonation in a 500 ml bottle. I've just filled some 750 ml champagne bottles and primed with two tabs, will see how they turn out : )
