Does anyone use "Coopers Carbonation Drops", if so how many do you use for a 1L bottle?

Again could you just use sugar cubes and how many would you need for a 1L bottle

The problem with cubes is that it can take a lot of effort to get them to dissolve.

Personally I use a funnel to help bottle, I throw the sugar into the kneck of the funnel and wash it through with the beer

It says 1 drop per 'stubbie' (375ml), 2 per long neck (750ml) I'd go for 3 in a litre :thumb:

You'd be better off using granulated sugar, a rate of 5g per pint bottle, 2 for a litre.
The amount of sugar you use depends on the type of beer to be carbonated, you wouldn't want a lager fizzy stout

If you are making a coopers lager they recommend 1 drop per 500ml bottle so it would be 2 for a litre.
