Cooper's Bottle Caps

Just sampled my first bottle of Cooper's beer. I notice the 'collar' of the cap stays on the neck of the bottle. Obviously the PET bottles are reusable but are the caps?
If I re-use the caps, do I snip off the collar or just leave it there, or do I cut it off and buy new caps?

I've re-used them. Washed, sanitised no problems.......so far.

Yes its fine to leave it, I use tesco flavour sparking water bottles and re use them with no problem

The bottles are 'tamper evident' as they call it for the first use, then are infinitely reusable after that :)

The little flexible plastic insert inside the cap can eventually tear and let air but other tahn that they reusable several times.
