Hey guys, long time no speak! Still moving into a new house, stress full times.. hope you are all well!

I've got a coopers lager kit, and in the instructions its telling me after the fermentation has finished, how to bottle the beer, starting secondary fermentation etc. But i will be storing the beer in the corny keg! Do I need a secondary fermentation? As the presurization will give the beer its bubbles.

Im having a bbq in about a months time - is it a good idea to start the brew now?

Also - i know how to force carb turbo cider by now - but are there different PSIs with a lager kit i should consider?

Any adviced would be appreciated!

Sorry to bump this thread!

I promise I will become more active after I've got things sorted at the new place, it's the first time I've brewed for a good few months!!

When you say 22psi at 15'c... is this ideal for lager?

As brewstew would say (roughly) 1 PSI for every 1 degree - reckon thats just purely for cider?

Anyone have any input on this? - How would you carbonate your lager brews?

Fantastic! Those figures really helped :)

After I'm happy that the carbonation has completed - is it ideal to leave the brew (in the fridge) at 5'c throughout its life?

As I guess if I introduce the brew to room temperature - this may do something bad? :?

That's entirely up to you crE if you like your lager that cold :thumb:
If you keep it at 5C then you will keep the same exactly the same carbonation level :thumb:
If it warms up then the dissolved CO2 will "slowly" come out of solution and you will need to increase the pressure to keep the same carbonation level :)
