Just had a bit of a thought. I was wondering would it be ok to put a ice pack in the fv wihle it clears to help it stay cool ? :

I wouldn't risk it personally due to the risk of contamination, and at 20degC or whatever you have the brew at it aint going to stay cool for that long

Just my humble opinion :
