Just finished a Muntons kit. It calls for 2 days at fermenting temp once bottled, then conditioned for 2-3 weeks at a cooler temp. 2 quick Q's..

1. Is 2 days at fermenting temp enough once bottled?
2. Will my man-shed be too cold for conditioning? Guessing 6-10'C average

Cheers

Almost sounds like a typo. I would think that 2 days at room temp is way too short a time to get the secondary fermentation kicked off. 2 weeks would usually be the rule of thumb before moving it to a cooler place.

The first ag kits I done suggested only 2 days in the warm. I made them in the summer though so it's hard to say if it would have been long enough. I'd definitely agree with 2 weeks in the warm though, it'll do no harm.

6 - 10 degrees will be perfect for cold conditioning.
