I just started drinking my first brew yesterday, and while I'm really happy with the appearance and over the moon with the taste, there's a few things bugging me.
Initially and once a sparklet was used I'm finding it hard to pour due to the froth. I want to have the co2 in there to keep the beer fresh tho.
Is it feasible on my third brew to ferment in my bucket as usual and then condition in 5 litre plastic water demijohns. Priming with sugar as normal and leaving for 4 weeks +.I could then just open these at will and finish the lot in a session or two. I don't mind flat beer as I'm a real ale drinker anyway.
I wouldn't need to buy any pressure release caps would I?
Many Thanks
