Noob question here. Just had a text off my lad who said "The longer my ale is in my barrel does it get stronger coz two pints off Coopers dark ale has just blown my ed off" Excuse the grammar but you know what youngsters are like.
I text back saying i wouldn't have thought so it will be the same abv when it went in the barrel the only thing it will do is condition up and beyond 3 to 4 months.

You are correct :cool: If the beer was racked early it may still ferment a few points and beer conditioning will still change a point or two over a long time, but nothing should drastically change the abv.
