Composting hops

Hi folks,

I'm upping my compost production with lots of coffee grounds and hops from a local brewery.

I'm using shredded paper to soak up some of the moisture from both, but would welcome any tips for speeding up the process and stopping the whole lot becoming a stinking mess.

I'm a keen gardener so I'm not new to composting - just looking for some key info around hops.

Put 'composting spent hops' into google there is only 375000 hits ............
should be plenty to keep you going

I'm not joking. The ammonia in urine is a good compost activator.
