Just thought I would introduce myself. I did a couple of homebrews a number of years ago but they never worked out. From stalking the forum I relies my issue was a lack of patience.

Fingers crossed with the added years I am now able to wait a month or two before sampling and drinking the lot (rather than the week that it was before!!!).

Welcome back to brewing, I was in a very similar position, brewed 30 + years ago @ uni, then again when first married, gave up when kids came along  then in August 2010 decided to have another go, with a wiser head :wha: well more mature outlook and a little more patience

Started with a couple of kits but very quickly went to AG, it was a helluva lot easier that I thought and never looked back :thumb: It needn't be expensive to set up and the reults are brilliant, the gang on here are really helpful and the info available is (almost) endless

Daft questions :?: don't be embarrased, we've all asked 'em  enjoy your return to brewing, I certainly have

Welcome!!

I was in your position having brewed a few kits years ago.

I had lots of questions answered by some very friendly and knowledgeable [ :? ] people - I now blame those members of this forum for having a shiny new AG setup  (Well that's what I told the missus ;) )

Had my first AG brewday last Friday and [looks around for some wood to touch] all seems well so far!

You're in the right place :thumb:

Thanks for the warm welcome. Planning to start with a few kits and go from there. Dont kow what my other half would think of if I went AG?!
