Colour change when racking

These things happen. A while back i kegged the wrong fv. Was only a week old and tasted foul. aheadbutt

Pardon my ignorance, but would something kegged early not finish fermenting in the keg, like a secondary, and eventually be ok?
 
The end of the saga. Due to arse-on-chair syndrome I never did pour these bottles away and curiosity got the better of me. The taste has settled down to what I would have expected out of the lager. Still opaque but tastes good now. It’s under bittered for a Pilsner but otherwise ok. Weird one. I’ll drink it but not share it!
