Cold Crash / Carbonate

Fermented under pressure and ready to go cold crash. Wondering if it's a good idea to apply gas from cold crash start and keep that pressure constant and begin force carb. If not, why not?

Next brew increase pressure towards the end of fermentation and you shouldn't have to add CO2.
