evening all
ive just been given a winemaking book. And in it is a recipe for a dry coffee wine.

instant coffee (NESCAFE) - 15g
Sugar - 1 kilo
Citric acid - 15g
Water to - 4.5 litres
Ammonium phosphate - 1 teaspoon

As anyone tried this?
Where can i get Ammonium phosphate from?

Cheers DS

That's a CJJB recipe from "First Steps".

I tried it once, many many years ago.

I seem to remember it was absolutely ***kin' awful

I heard LOTS of bad reports about that book, is it one to steer well clear of?

Not at all Wez, there are some excellent recipes in there, but you've got to be selective.

Also, ignore his sugar quantities.

Isn't he the use a cooled cup of tea guy?

Maybe winemaking is more forgiving than brewing.....but i'd have to say typhoo or Yorkshire!
