Is it possible to convert an old fire extinguisher to a co2 cylinder any one ever do it is it safe can it be done where to buy parts

Never heard of this but I can imagine that the answer is no, no, no & no. And why? I would stick with getting a proper food grade cylinder, they really are not that expensive.

£20 each from Thameside fire protection in Basildon Essex, refills £5. These are 2kg ones. They said the 5kg ones need to have a tapered thread and are hard to get. £40 for the 5kg if he has one. I thought 2 better than one so that one is always full. Whereabouts are you?

Okay so it turns out that it can be done but I still think I'll stick with my current gas supplier ;)
