I had my wherry in the warm for 2 weeks and it's been in the hut now for over a week and I just opened one there and it's still major cloudy, it tastes fine and has s braw head on it but is that normal for a wherry, it's the first time I've done one

mine have always been quite clear after that time...however the weathers been very fickle these last couple of weeks

.....she's young...she's flighty........let her get older and wiser..........

Mine's been in the conditioning for five weeks plus two in secondary & it's still not 100% clear although it is a spot on brew taste wise.
It's a long burner, buckle yourself in it can be a long ride but ultimately worth the wait - I hope!!

I'm glad I posted about it now its put me at ease about it, I don't really care about a clear beer as long as it tastes good but I was worried that the cloudiness could have been down to something more sinister, but I'm quite happy now. Cheers boys ;-)

Was it clear when you bottled it... now I move my FV into the cold for an extra week so it is clear when I bottle.

It was a little cloudy when I bottled it, I should have gave it a while in the cold, that's what I would have told someone else to do so I suppose I should have taken my own advice

It will clear in time. I left my last Wherry 10 weeks and it was beautiful.

Current Wherry is at 5 weeks in the barrel, but I won't touch it for another 5.

That's my sherry cleared now, truth be told I forgot all about it out there in the hut lol it's been out for months, I opened one and poured it and it was nice and clear but I put the other in the fridge and after a few hours it was dead cloudy again?????? What's that all about??

Sounds like chill haze to me.

Ah so avoid the fridge then, maybe it was chill haze in the first place and maybe that's why it's taken till the warmer months to clear out, how does that occur?
