Hi all. Fairly new to this lark. Just brewed a Milestone Lions Pride. Seemed to ferment ok so transferred to barrel after a couple of weeks but was very cloudy. Been in there for another 4 weeks but not cleared at all. Tastes ok if a little malty. Is there anything I can do to try to clear it or is it knackered?

Cheers

Thats the important thing, I wouldn't worry about it being cloudy.

You could maybe add some finings, but that would mean opening up the barrel which is not ideal.

You could also invest in a wooden/pewter/stone tankard then you won't know it's cloudy.

Was the fermentation temp steady. I ask as I had a cloudy wherry - I figured it was when we has a spike in the weather - it was 29/ 30 for two days when it was fermenting, the first 3 days of the ferment in fact.
Mine settled out but was just a tad hazy
