Hi there I have a Vintners Zinfandel 23l on the go and is currently clearing stage. I have followed the instructions to the book and used a drill to degass. The wine has been sitting for 10 days now and I had a look at the wine last night. The bottom 3 inches above the sediment is very clear. However the rest is still very dark pink. The kit does say to leave for 14 days but finding it strange that the bottom 3 inches clear and rest cloudy!!!

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

I know and all mine have in the past lol. Just thinking would it be worth givinging it another good degass or add some kwick klear in it? As it a kit wine I don't know much about them

I would degassing it again, when you use the drill do you go from forwards to backwards every second or do you do it in one direction only.
