Clearing beer in conicals

Hello all

Just bought a Ss conical brew bucket from malt miller. Working brilliant but just wanted to know if adding finings straight to fermenter is ok? Brewed out to exact Fg required. Would normally transfer to bucket and add finings but thought as conical bottom could do it straight? Any ideas?

I reckon using finings in your conical will be fine. Personally I don't add anything to my fermentor apart from dry hopping - I prefer to use Irish moss during the boil, but it's all down to preference I guess!

Please do - I have been looking at those conicals with envy, but can't justify it to the good lady (yet!)
