Clear after 5 days in bottle?

I opened a bottle last night after 5 days, my excuse was I need to check that secondary fermentation had taken place. The bottles are still inside. To my surprise the beer was crystal clear! Yes it was slightly carbonated and doesn't taste sweet so I guess it's alright. Puzzling.
