I have to tell you that I'm gutted. My first brew ever has gone off. It's never happened to me before. I've recently gone over to full grain brewing and the increase in equipment has led to an increase in potential infections. I'm now determined that I shall educated myself on the subject of brewing hygiene.

Can anyone direct me to a sticky or indeed a website that deals quite comprehensively with this topic. Please remember that I am in the UK so, as far as brands are concerned, please direct me towards info relevant to the UK market.

Thanks in advance.

I can't direct you to a sticky but I can say that if you get PBW (cleaner) and use that to scrub and manually clean all equipment then get some VPW and use that to sterilise everything once clean. Also get Starsan and a spray bottle to spray everything before and after use you should be good.

Don't beat you self up about it, it happens sometimes. But by following the above you can seriously limit the chances.
