Now that i have a couple of corny's filled and a python winging its way to me, my attention is now turning to how to keep the lines clean.

My setup is as follows:

2x Cornys >>>>>>> 3/8 line >>>>>>> 2 product chiller >>>>>>> 3/16 line >>>>>>> 2 tap Porcelain beer font (All brass fittings). Cooler has a recirc as well)

Any tips on best equipment to use (don't want to blow the bank), best chemical and frequency would be much appreciated.

To clean my lines I flush through with water, then flush through and soak with Pumpol beer line cleaner from Makro, then flush through with water again and refil with beer :D

Thanks for that. However, I need to really leave the lines in situ as they run through the wall of my garage. I've seen comments elsewhere about using a corny after cleaning to push through the cleaner under pressure right through to the tap or is there another option?

Those garden type sprayers that you fill up and then pump up the pressure, you use one of them and attach to your beer line and pump the cleaner into the lines, and again to rinse with water.

If you're a member of Jims check out this post. Beer line cleaner works a treat

all my lines are in situ too, I just push everything through using an empty corni and a CO2 bottle. Loving the garden spray mod though, that's pure genius! I wish I'd thought of it!! I'll be making one of those before the week's out!!

I use an empty corny ( or often one that I am cleaning at the time ) ... instead of gassing up each time I have a spare gas in that I connect to my bike pump to create enough pressure to push it all through. :thumb:

Must get some proper line cleaner though, oxi does a job but crud does slowly build up..
