Have Just made up a black rock cider kit(2 weeks ago), with no bubbles for a few days thought it was ready and put into pressure barrel, so i did. However got a mouthfull of it and way to sweet, checked the specific gravity and sitting at 1020 giving me a brew of 2.8%. I had primed my keg with sugar... Now i don't really know what to do with the brew. At the moment i have changed my pressure barrel lid for one with an airlock in it, maybe it will start to referment? Any advice greatly appreciated as im don't want to lose this brew. Thanks!!

Add another yeast to it asap, it should start to referment if you didn't add any stabilising chemicals :thumb:

Lesson to be learnt here, use your hydrometer regularly ;)

Yes a victim of not using a hydro, bottled turbo cider too soon but put it back into FV added a little more yeast then re bottled when hydro read 1.005 or below after two days doing very nicely now :thumb:
