 hi there fellow brewers, hope you are all well.i have recently tried to brew a youngs cider kit which in all honesty resulted in 23l of vinegar water( it wasnt even a good vinegar).i must admit this was my second brew kit and i did not add heat(i have the heaters now) and barrelled after 11 days adding 75g of sugar.bearing this in mind i am hoping that one of you may suggest a more reliable kit or a few do,s and dont,s or additives to use when brewing cider.i have only brewed 5 kits to date so i really could do with any advise you may have to offer.thanks in advance guys.leo.

Have a look in the recipes section for "turbo cider". Basically supermarket bought apple juice, yeast and a few optional additives and you've got some reasonably tasty cider, cheap as chips and couldn't be simpler to make :thumb:
