I have got a Ritchies Straswberry and Lime kit on the go which i used with 1kg dextrose, 1.5l of cranberry and 1.5l of cheapo asda apple juice and some vanilla extract.

It has been in the FV for arounde 36 hours but there is not a lot going on, a bubble maybe every 5 minutes and no head at all on top.

Pitched the kit yeast / sweetener at 26 degrees and is now sat between 20-21.

I have done two cider kits before and they both took off like a house on fire so worried that i have some dud yeast??

What volume is this kit?

Did the cranberry have preservatives?

23l - definately no preservatives in the cranberry andi have used it before with great success in my cider

Dunno then, maybe just poor aeration when you started it off. Maybe an unlucky bad pack of yeast.
It's doing something so it should pick up and get there eventually.

gotta say tho - strawb&lime cider? Why oh why oh why?
