Last Christmas I found myself in the scary state where I was looking at Chrissie Hind in her Sally Army gear and thought I'd probably climb aboard that if she asked.

She did, of course, and I saw sense and declined. Still looks too much like Tom Petty for me to take the plunge. I'm sure I'll be won over.

no I don't -

if its a holiday how would you pay for all the presents, the council don't collect the binbags on xmas day so we'd drown in a sea of opened wrapping paper, plus the endless 10K calorie xmas day scoff and booze would soon finish us off.

Better to say

"I wish it could be xmas now and then -
so we get bin collections once again
cos the problem we have is brussel sprouts
let the farts ring out at xmas
