Chocolate wine

I would like to brew something chocolatey.


Anybody ever added chocolate to a wine before?

Ive never tried it, but was seriously thinking about he CJJ berry recipe for coffee wine but replacing the coffee wich drinking chocolate.

The mint chocolate/ after eight one sounds kind of interesting.

Some kind of berry and chocolate is more what i had in mind, I was thinking cherry and choc would be good.

I'm thinking you'd need more than a tsp of cocoa though and some serious maturing (seems the cocoa contains oils that need a long time to break down).

I'm going to put the cherry and choc mead on my to do list once I have more DJs and more spare cash.
