not so sunny scunny
not so sure if it is in the right place on here but i am desperately after a recipe for cherry brandy (mainly because i have found a few trees and owt for nowt lol)

if you have one and would post it, i would appreciate it muchly!

Hmm, I would imagine 1 litre of brandy in a glass half filled with cherries and 100g sugar. Shake up and leave for 6 months to a year in a cool dark place.

That works well with vodka too
 
By far the best cherries I have ever used in brewing are:

PEK Pitted dark Morello Cherries in syrup!

Just cherried sugar and water so you can add the syrup to ur brews for extra colour and taste!
They have a very deep and rich taste and you dont have to mess with skins and stones and so cheap,
You can find them near the canned fruit in Morrisons for £1.10 for 460g
(Amazing baked into custard too :whistle: )

I know you're all going to say fresh are best but just an idea for you!
