Have used the water calculator with this forum to calculate the additions to my brewing water, i have got to add some to the mash and some to the boil.
Can anybody confirm if i have to add the mash addition to the grains and mix in before adding to the mash tun and do the boil additions go straight in as soon as the mash/sparge has finished or when the wort first starts boiling
 
Add the mash additions to the water rather than the dry grains, it's easier to ensure they fully dissolve and therefore evenly distribute. The boil additions can go in anytime during the boil really, as the wort comes to the boil is fine.
