Hello Everyone,
I'm a young (30) home brewer. I've been enjoying full mash brews for about 3 years now (on & off). I was taught by an old boy in the village who brewed for many a year. Being an Engineer, I have made most of my brewing equipment from scratch.
My favourite ale is Fullers ESB, & generally enjoy all of Fullers Ales. I enjoy most local beer festivals, but will often travel further a field. Recently Iâve found a new love for IPAâs, especially Fullers Bengal Lacer & Brewdogs Punk IPA & Hardcore IPA. My signature brew would be something like 3 â 5 Kg Pale, 400g Crystal with Target, Challenger, Northdown & Golding Hops. I always brew for fun & love the process / drinking. I would love to step up to micro brewery level / supplying a local pub, however I still have much to learn. By joining this forum I hope to expand my knowledge & become a better brewer,
Furthermore, Having visited many homebrew shops around the country / beer festivals / A local pub, Real ale drinkers are by far, some of the nicest people I have ever met, & respect our community.
Hopefully in a few years I'll read this from my private tasting room as head brewer......... we can all dream,
Hopefully speak soon,
Lloyd
