Hi

I've just joined, used to homebrew about 30 (blimey just worked that out didn't realise it was so long) years ago. Packed in because of the pain of bottle washing (youthful horemones may have played a part too :D )

I am currently considering buying a fermenter and having a go at a Muntons Gold Pilsner kit then keging into a Rotokeg or Kingkeg, are these any good? Do the CO2 injectors just add a low pressure blanket to protect the brew or do they add loads of fizz?

Any advice on other kits? I do like German beers, and my local is a Joseph Holt house

welcome to the forum co2 in rotokegs will basically force beer out of the keg you still need to prime the keg with sugar
If you want loads of fizz you need a corny then theres no need for priming as you can force carb

Hi Alec, cheers guys

I've bitten the bullet going to use a King Keg with CO2 to blanket the beer :thumb: Post more details elsewhere
