Tesco direct have Harvest bitter 40 pints @£2.75 and Harvest Pilsner 40 pints @ £2.74. Don't know what they are like but bought 2 of each to use as a toucan. They also have youngs 6 bottle strawberry wine @ £2.19.

thats not bad.

i wouldnt 2 can them as it will be to dark and bitter. try brewing each can to 18ilsh with a little sugar or even better dme

i did the yorkshire harvest with 10L and no sugar. looks like a porter but tastes great but 2 months to be drinkable

I requested email when in stock and had emails this morning saying they were in. I ordered them at about 7.45. Must only have 2 of each in warehouse :hmm:

I made the pilsner about 6months ago from the same sale at my local shop, I made it up with liquid malt extract and dry hopped with saaz pellets. Its not a bad drink now after some time in the bottle.

The bityer was quite alright as well.. For the price you really can't complain, just make them up with malt extract and add hop tea / dry hops and it'll still be under £10

I haven't made these kits but I have made the Harvest mild and with DME it was a lovely pint indeed. Very easy drinking (too easy!).

I have registered for stock alerts just in case it comes back in at that price, which is unlikely. I imagine they were clearing stock that was close to date.

Its been listed at this price for last week at least - i have been checking each day just in case, didnt both with the alerts as i guessed they were stopping to stock.

Must be a clearance item for a retailer to knock out at this sort of price. Am strangely tempted to buy up a few cans, but the Missus would go barmy if I bought any more kits just yet - now have 5 in the queue waiting. :nono:

Can't believe the stuff would that bad either...

Tesco have done these kits at this price before as well as coopers kits at £7.
Not for a while though.

All tins came today, use by dates range from Dec 2014 and July 2015. Going to keep checking tesco site to see if they come in stock again. I'll post on here if I see them come up.
