Just been to my local Aldi and they have the red and white grape juice on offer for 57p a litre.
There are no preservatives mentioned and it is pure juice. It states to drink it within 2 days of opening so I do not think there are any preservatives in it.
I have bought 8 litres of the white grape juice and added a kilo of sugar.
When I got home I noticed they only charged me for 6 litres!!!
This will only work out at about 40p per bottle including the sugar, yeast etc.
The gravity was about 1090. Added some pectolase, yeast and nutrient.
I haven't added any acid. Does anyone think it will need any?

and just waiting now for it to clear had a quick taste when adding finings and it tastes better than I thought all I added to mine was yeast and nutrient so you should be ok :thumb: one of the wine guru's will put you right
