Evening!

If anyone's looking for a cheap false bottom, this is what Get er Brewed are using for their Peco boilers and selling on their site (albeit £8 cheaper). This might not suit everyone's set up, I'm going to have to adapt my one somehow for the boiler to stop it moving about but definitely does the job of keeping the grain bag off the element.

I have one (off Geterbrewed). I agree with the op, it works but it has a tendency to lift. I've also wondered how to make it work better.

I`m currently in the process of modifying mine.A real pain in the **** trying to get it to sit level.

I was going to buy 4x60mm stainless steel bolts with 3 nuts and 2 washers for each bolt and attach them to the false bottom so it sits level and can`t move about but whilst following my wife around TKmaxx on Wednesday,I found a flat lump of ss in the kitchen section, reduced to £1(it`s some sort of serving plate thing).
I`m going to bend it in 2 places to make a "C" shaped thing which will do the same thing.
I`ll take some pics when I start the operation.
