Well I am a bit disappointed with this one. Reserve du Chateau Chilean Merlot. I started it on 8/12/12 with an OG of 1.090. Looked good at this point. Tested it on 30/12/12 and the SG was 1.000. Figured I would leave it to see if it went lower. Tested again today and it is still on 1.000 so I am declaring it fermented and will rack and stabilise and degass. Taste wise it is okay, but has a medium sweetness I wasn't expecting at the start. Anyone else done this kit? I had high hopes for this one, but they seem to have been dashed. Oh well you win some and you loose some. :hmm: I will put it away for a good few months and see what happens.

Thanks Rob. I racked to a secondary after a week, so it's off the worst of the yeast. For the sake of 5 points I'm not going to bother trying to restart it. I will just store in bulk and maybe blend it with a dry red later. Or use it as a second bottle then no one will notice.
