Caught my baby today! (fishing)

He's 2 yrs old and coming on good. It's taken me a while to catch him, he's so quick and in a huge pond one chance is all I get.

and as a baby all those years ago ( sorry had crap camera at the time)

I'm off for my usual Thursday fishing trip with my oppo tomorrow and are hoping the weathers as nice as today

There's a few bigger relatives of your baby in the lake we're going to, so hopefully there'll be some fun

He's never seen a hook. In fact it's the first time I've caught him in the 2 yrs I've had him, He's got brothers in there as well but he's the biggest. Next on the catch list is one of the common and one of the crusian I have.

Good luck for your trip, I'm hoping for good weather but only cos I'm at work

Tiddler used to grew salmon to about 7-8lb in 2-2 1/2 yrs even had one that got up to over 30lb. Mind you that was on a fish farm :lol: :lol: Oh happy days.

I have 4 fish in my pond that are native to my garden. When I cleared my large pond and down sized there where 4 baby fish in the pond. I'm getting rid of my pond as it seams to be putting buyers off so Dad is rehoming my 7 fish in his pond. Will post some pic's when I get them out next weekend.

That's nothing unusual, my post not making sense :wha:

I went out fishing today with my oppo and we had a magnificent day sat in the sun, it was really nice and warm, best day of the year so far, we went to a fishery just outside of Lancaster and had a few carp, both Mirror and Commons, a fun day

Heres my bag for the day, so beer time now :drinks: going to struggle to keep awake after tea, a goodly dose of fresh air and sunshine

Is this the start of spring up here :hmm:
