Has anyone got a recipe for cascade apart from an IPA or any pale ale i want something unique. :thumb:

Isn't that a contradiction in itself? To be Unique = Being the only one of its kind; unlike anything else: "the situation was unique in modern politics"; "original and unique designs"

I know Phettebs has a nice cascade ale he Brews :thumb:

9lbs of Pale Malt
.5lb of Medium Crystal
1 oz Cascade @ 60 min
.5 oz Cascade @ 30 min
.5 oz Cascade @ 15 min
.5 oz Cascade @ 10 min
.5 oz Cascade @ 5 min
1 oz Cascade @ 0 min

dry hop with 1 oz Cascade

Mash at 152F for 90 min
I boil for 60-70 min

Shoot for an OG for around 1.054

US-05 or Wyeast 1056

That's my recipe that Mark posted. He and Wendy have brewed it several times. It's a nice pint and 100% Cascade. I've changed that recipe up over the course of the past 5 years and that's the one I like the best.

Cascade are hard to explain. You best just try some.

Geo, I remember when you were nuts and all about crazy experiments :p
They go insanely well in IPA's and pale ales, league of its own. But maybe you could try a wheat beer or something with it in. :)
