Morning, I bottled my first Coopers kit yesterday. Its the Canadian Blonde. My friend brewed the Coopers Mexican Cerveza and I really enjoyed it.
I used brewing sugar for carbonation but as an experiment I used syrup, honey, demerara and castor sugar in a few different bottles to see if I can notice any difference. Has anyone ever tried this and was there any differences in taste?
Thanks. Andy.

Tried all sorts (not Bassets) of things for carbonation over the years, can't say as I've ever noticed any difference with anything, nowadays just stick to ordinary white sugar, serves its purpose well enough.
There again I batch prime at quite a low rate of 3g per litre, not particularly keen on fizzy beer, whatever floats your boat.
