Hi Guys,

I am just getting to the end of my 1st AG brew, most of the bottles have been kept in my dining room at room temperature but 12 of them got 2 weeks in the dining room and then got taken to the inlaws to live in their garage and I have noticed a massive difference in the carbonation levels. The brew that has been kept in the garage are far more fizzy.

This batch had sugar put in each bottle (cant remember the amount)

Any idea why they are so different? Its like drinking different beers?

If you are not batch priming then there will be differences as you cannot guarantee that you have equal amounts of sugar. Also getting an even temp will have an effect, and also what temp they are served at will also make a difference.

So it may not be because one has been at the in laws and another at home there are too many variables.

Even with batch priming you don't get even carbonation there will be some which are a little more lively than others. :hmm: :hmm:
