Hi all a question that's been going though my mind is when the initial ferment has complete I read you should transfer to second demijohn to clear for 3 days after this if I bottle it can I still carbonate it if so how thanks

Right so. Yes transferring to a secondary vessel after the primary fermentation is complete, before bottling (to settle trub/yeast, and to do a bit of conditioning) is generally a good idea. Particularly if your bottling.

Your carbonation comes while your beer is in the bottle completing its conditioning. Me I like a good bit of carbonation. So I add a coopers carbonation drop to each bottle before I cap it. Follow that and you should be all good.
