Stout and smooth flow beers I think are carbonated with a mixture of Nitrogen/CO2. Does anybody force carbonate bitters/ales with this? If so what are the results like and what ratio of gas is used?

They use 70/30 for the likes of John Smiths Smooth  . You need the correct dispense equipment with the correct diffuser etc though.

I've got 70/30 and only use it on stouts, it's great but you have to crank the pressure up realy high to carbonate.
I'd stick with good old co2 :thumb:

Yeah, it's harder to get the nitrogen in to solution....but that has the advantage that it is harder to get out, therefore giving you a long-lasting, creamy head.
