Hello,

I have recently started kegging and am looking at getting this Xmas brew in to age ready!

so far I have been force carbing and drinking straight away, but seem unclear when it comes to ageing or layering of you do this before force carbonating.

whata the general consensus?

cheers

I would say carbonate first then lager. If you are hooked up to CO2 cylinder just set it at 12psi and forget about it. It'll carbonate and lager at the same time

If you have room I'd carb and lager. Advantage is that you can taste it as you go, seeing when how it ages and changes.
