looking in the co-op i saw peach slices in grape juice reduced to 35p can, no nasty additives just citric acid added, does anyone have any ideal what sort of quantity i might need for a gallon DJ??

has anyone tried this sort of thing??

I used to use 3 cans per gallon (Including the syrup) with 8oz of white grape concentrate, and sugar to 1.090

Very nice cheap wines ;)
 
Hi. I picked up 2 tins of strawberries in fruit juice today 39p per can.I think I will have ago at making a wine from them.The ingredients on the 400g tins are: Grape Juice from concentrate,
Strawberries,
Elderberry Concentrate,
Citric Acid.
Should I go back and get more tins and is there anything else i should be adding like pectolase. Iam new to winemaking and any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Does anyone know if I can add the fruit straight to Demijohn and would it need chopping or mashing up ?
