there are specialist ones

just as so many here had them a little sticky or section might be nice

no worries if not

ill enjoy the threads on there own

Errrrrr....... last time I looked this was a homebrew forum. :wha: Not sure we have any non brewing stickies. Loads of no brew related threads but no stickies.

That's right, lets keep the various sections for beer and wine only, the snug for the rest.

keep every thing where it is

but i will like to see a general brewing/equipment section. a place what beer cider and wine cross over as most of the basic equipment/skills cover all forms

welcome to the world of DE razors Titch :thumb:

My shaving area is in the shower, or are you talking a specific area, like a Brazilian?

My shaving area is my face ......... mostly anyway. I just had a look, there is a shaving forum    'The Shaving Room' and no, I'm not putting up a link

A shaving forum?
What next? How to wipe your arse?
Actually there are loads of shaving forums and while there's quite a metrosexual contingent on them its as much about people collecting vintage razors, restoring cut throats, learning how to sharpen them and so on as it is on advice on technique and equipment.

Many people just don't know how to shave properly and end up with shaving rashes, ingrowing hairs and sores while buying into the Gillette and Wilkinson Sword marketing departments concepts that the more blades you have the better and paying through the nose for a face plane.

To be frank for most men its a chore shaving and if you can turn that to a pleasure then its got to be a good thing, hasn't it?

But I agree no need for a specialist section.

no problems but any PM for decent forums would be appreciated

thanks for discussing at least chaps

Totally 'Off Topic' here so please bear with me.

Mrs Pjam and me went to a wedding last year and stayed the night in a hotel on Southend sea front, we appeared for breakfast in the morning to find almost every table taken by guests sporting the largest moustaches I've ever seen! Everyone, apart from us, looked like total freaks  ............ there was one bloke (with an equally impressive moustache) sitting on his own, ignored by the others .... We wondered what he could have done to deserve such a cold shoulder :?

I've signed up with one called the shaving room, they seem to be a fair bunch of nutters, not entirely unlike here, already 'met' a fellow brewer on there, one who might be recognised by others from here in fact :)

The other shaving thread in here is still ticking over and has had some quality input, certainly gave me some good ideas on what to search for in order to find lots of useful information to improve my morning shave.
