Its certainly possible that a beer will ferment out in 5 days. You might want to leave it for another couple of days before bottling to give the yeast a chance to tidy up after itself. :thumb:

How does it taste? Not too sweet?

it tastes like any other larger that u would buy, there is a layer at the bottom of the barrel about 5mm thick, i think i have the temp to high i have had it at 24c is that to high?

Its certainly on the high side for a lager yeast. Most lager yeasts work better at a lower temp and develop the more authentic flavours when working within their optimum temperatures (I have just brewed up a Pilsner today and have set it to ferment at 12C).

However if it tastes okay then it sounds like things have gone well. If you can stick it somewhere cooler for a couple of days you will certainly get a bit more of the yeast to drop out.

thanks for the advice i will turn the heater off and let is sit for a few more days! would it be of any benifit to move it to a secondary F.V?

P.S

Sorry for all the questions i just dont want to have to pour my first batch down the bath lol.

I wouldn't bother dropping into a secondary. Personally I have never noticed any difference when I have done it.
